I research all the CNC Plasma cutting systems that I could find on the internet.  Almost all had stepper motors and most were poorly constructed.  I think servo motors are the best way to control a CNC machine and I wanted a well built piece of equipment. Dynatorch was by far the best system I researched with a solid constructed frame and an excellent down draft air handler system (an option which I purchased with my machine).  Their soft ware is easy to learn and the technical support is the best.
