Our line of torch tip protectors are one of those ideas that are simple in concept but provide a world of value for the price.

 How many times have you allowed that new torch consumable tip to touch a dirty sheet of metal or inadvertently allowed the torch to drag directly on the material while cutting? Fouling the tip on dirty metal or dragging the tip usually means shortening tip life severely. Wouldn’t it be nice if the tip could be prevented from ever touching material and still allow normal operations including arc voltage height control?

 Our tip protectors surround the cutting tip and never allow the tip to contact the material. They do this by holding the tip slightly away from the material preventing contact. Normal pierce and cutting distances are not affected. Tip protector sides are vented to allow cutting dust to escape easily.

 This is a product you will never see consumable manufactures offer since they want you to wear out their products quickly so they can sell you more.  Since they do not pay your bills this is a good item that will pay for itself promptly in tip consumable savings.

 Our tip savers come in a set of two for shielded and non shielded Hypertherm machine torches in models 600, 1000, 1250 and 1650. Models for Thermal Dynamics plasma torches will be available soon.
