The Dynatorch CNC Software

Dynatorch software is designed expressly for the plasma flame cutting industry. It is designed to exploit the many technological advantages only available from Dynatorch intelligent motors. It is equally at home being used by the user new to CNC cutting hardware or the seasoned veteran needing advanced features.

Unlike other vendors in this market, Dynatorch software is developed in house.  We spent 4 years developing and beta testing our software prior to selling the first system.  It is designed exclusively for the plasma and oxyfuel cutting operation. While other vendors adapt software written for milling machines, we addressed the specific concerns for plasma cutting services.  Plasma cutting requires unique features that these other adapted software products can not supply.  There is, for instance, no arc voltage height adjustment in a milling machine.

Our Dynatorch program has proven so effective that a variant of our software called JenCNC was licensed to Animatics for use in 3-4 axis (non plasma cutting) motion control applications. We maintained our exclusivity in Dynatorch software for the integrated torch height control.  We have not licensed that to anybody.

Dynatorch software can accept drawing input as traditional G-code or drawings in a DXF file format. G/M-code is a CNC machining language. DXF files are a text based file structure common to most CAD and drawing packages such as AutoCAD, Turbo CAD, Corel PhotoShop and many others. Objects created in any of these software packages are easy to import into Dynatorch using DXF file formats.

Dynatorch Software Features:

Dynatorch DXF Conversion Screen

DynaTorch offers our users a complete conversion facility  package as part of our basic software.

This part of our software allows standard DXF files created by any CAD or drawing software to be imported into Dynatorch  to be converted into G-Code that is used to direct cutting operations. Additionally, your DXF files can be processed to optimize them for plasma cutting.

Our DXF software can convert your DXF files from individual line segments into smooth, automatically joined structures suitable for CNC plasma cutting operations. Our test run feature lets you see all the paths the torch will take while cutting. Color differentiation makes it easy to see cut paths, rapid positioning paths and joined / un-joined line segments.
