Hair dryers, screwdrivers and plasma cutters...

Back when I went to engineering school, I had a teacher who specialized in machine and product design.  And he taught us a simple lesson about product design and function... It went like this:

Everyone knows what a hair dryers is used for, right? Of course, it's used to defrost your refrigerator.  And screwdrivers must be ice picks, right? No silly, they are used to open paint cans.

Now, when we designed the Dynatorch Plasma cutter, it's design and function was just that... a plasma cutter.    Well that didn't last very long....    Some of our customers have truly mastered the creative thinking process...   Following are a few photos from some of those guys..  Any others out there, we'd love to hear from you as well.
