  Have a long travel machine? Serial RS232 is limited in it's length. Fiber Optics however go real far!

 Our Serial to Fiber Optic Converters are the answer. These adaptors convert the RS232 communication signals to light waves traveling over the fiber optic cables, then on the other end they are converted back to RS232. 

Lengths of 100 feet and more are possible with converters.

These units feature overload protection and are rugged for industrial applications. Simple to retrofit on existing machines.  Unit is fully insulated from the gantry and table to prevent damage to the drive system by stray plasma power currents.
