NEW Torch Collision Detector
|

The Dynatorch Collision Detector protects the torch and
gantry from tip-ups and obstructions that could damage the torch or machine. Torch
breakage is expensive to repair but, more importantly can stop production until
your torch is repaired. Competitive detectors that have the same function
generally sell for a great deal more than the Dynatorch Collision Detector.
The Electronic Collision Detector attaches
directly to a Dynatorch lifter station eliminating the need for pivot
protection. When the torch encounters (strikes) an object sticking up above the
table the Collision Detector will release the torch from its mounting and stop
the gantry motion before the torch breaks. The Collision Detector will prevent torch breakage from strikes in any
radial direction. This unique radial design will not be affected by axial
(straight up and down) loading, so when the Torch is moving down to search for
the plate, it will NOT trigger a halt command.
This unit features overload protection and is rugged for repeated operations. Simple to retrofit on existing machines, or if you include it when you buy our drive system, we will install it on the lifter station for you.
